On Feb 26, join some of our smartest friends in Grand Rapids' business and tech community for breakfast at Mosaic Space, located in downtown Grand Rapids. We will be crowdsourcing solutions for another community problem, this time in the field of education. To prepare yourself, think about how social media and Internet technologies can be applied to the education space.
One of our Breakfasters captured the spirit of the first Breakfast for Smart People very well with this tweet:
"Getting together to solve a problem that meets a community need." — @mdyoder (Michael Yoder, LinkedUp Grand Rapids & Mindscape at Hanon-McKendry)
It's an environment where people believe in learning by doing. By gathering to crowdsource solutions for real community problems, social media gurus and businesspeople collaborate to learn from one other. And these problems aren't new. Most businesses face the exact same challenges. Breakfasters leave the event inspired by new ideas and solutions that they can apply to their own situations.
"Already got to use some of the smart discussion from today! Thanks again every one that attended!" — @caleb616 (Caleb Williams, Internet Marketing, Zondervan)
Our inaugural Breakfast on Jan 21 featured Breakfasters from a wide variety of companies, including Meijer, Zondervan, ArtPrize, Hanon McKendry, and the Heart of West Michigan United Way. With diverse perspectives come diverse solutions, and that concept is at the heart of this Breakfast. Everyone brings something to the table, including experience, ideas, and personal connections.

We'll be at Mosaic Space, Grand Rapids' newest rentable facility for wedding receptions, business functions, and everything in-between. Our consultancy purchased the spot to host workshops and it's modeled after Google's workspaces.
